Nethermoss Archers are pleased to announce that we are now shooting indoors at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.  We’ll be shooting there on Saturday afternoons, 1pm to 4pm until the end of March.  Visitors welcome.

Nethermoss presented two teams to the event; one Compound and one Recurve comprising four archers per team. Unfortunately, all the team’s members, with the exception of Nigel, performed below par and were unsuccessful in winning any trophies.

On a brighter note; Nigel Kerr finished in 2nd place (3rd overall) and Tony Hoe came 4th (5th overall) in the Gents’ Recurve section.  Just before his 13th birthday and his first competition, Andrew Freeman came 48th out of a total of 62 archers.  His commendable score of 502 won him the Lady Paramount’s Prize.

The Nethermoss compound team consisting of Matt and Mike Halewood and Melanie Hoe won the Lancashire Compound Bow Trophy.  Matt finished 3rd in the men’s tournament, and Mel 3rd in the ladies’.
