Nethermoss Archers runs archery lessons at Scarisbrick Village Hall from April to September to give people a chance to take up archery with expert tuition from club members.

A beginners’ course consists of six archery lessons at a time that can be arranged to suit the beginner and their tutor.  Each beginner is assigned a club member to give them personal tuition throughout their six lessons and get them shooting in the right direction.

People of any age are welcome, although children should be at least 12 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.  Equipment can be borrowed from the club for the six lessons and no previous experience of archery is required.

The cost of the six archery lessons is £25 and includes tuition, borrowing of equipment and insurance.  we obviously can’t guarantee that your £25 will turn you into an Olympic champion over night, but it will certainly get you started in a new sport.
